Beautiful building and very attentive staff. The food is better than most facility food. Definitely recommended for short stay rehabilitation.
My Sister was in this facility and I would like to leave the highest rating. The team was very professional and handled her with the utmost care. Very informative on all questions and there schedule was always prompt. Even after discharge the remained available to answer our needs and questions. Thumbs up
The staff is caring, respectful, and always willing to help. Facility is well maintained!
I was a patient here about 4 months ago to recover from breaking a hip. CNA Bella was very helpful and sweet!
good care. rehab staff was very patient and motivating. will be coming back if needed
My experience here has truly changed my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and treated with kindness and respect. The staff genuinely care about every person’s recovery and go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe, heard, and encouraged throughout the process. The therapists, counselors, and medical team are knowledgeable, compassionate, and always willing to help. They created an environment where I could focus on healing, learn healthy coping skills, and build a strong foundation for my recovery. The program gave me the tools and confidence I needed to move forward and believe in myself again. Recovery isn’t easy, but having a team that truly believes in you makes all the difference. I highly recommend this rehab to anyone who is struggling with addiction or looking for a fresh start. If you’re willing to put in the work, you’ll find the support, guidance, and care you need here. Coming here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’ll always be grateful for the people who helped me along the way.
I had a wonderful experience with this skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The staff was caring, compassionate, and attentive throughout the entire stay. The therapists were knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly dedicated to helping patients regain their strength and independence. The nursing team consistently provided excellent care and took the time to answer questions and address concerns. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and created a welcoming environment for both patients and their families. What stood out most was the genuine kindness and professionalism of everyone on the team. It is clear that they care deeply about the well-being and recovery of their patients. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of skilled nursing care or rehabilitation services.
My aunt was a patient at this facility to recover from a severe infection which compromised her mobility after a long hospitalization. The PT and OT were terrific in building an achievable program that challenged and enabled her ability to rehab and recover returning to daily life activities and mobility. The social service team also aided in providing a safe return home once I met my goals. Kaiser case managers and MD were helpful in guiding my progress throughout my time here! I recommend this facility!
I have had a wonderful experience with this nursing home. The staff are caring, compassionate, and truly go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and respected. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a welcoming environment for both residents and their families. The activities department does an excellent job providing engaging programs, social events, and opportunities for residents to stay active and connected. It is clear that the team genuinely cares about each resident’s well-being and quality of life. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will receive excellent care, kindness, and dignity. Thank you to the entire staff for everything you do!
Peninsula Place Acute is not a facility I would recommend for your loved ones. My grandfather has been a resident here for the past two weeks and attends dialysis three times a week. I was recently informed that staff failed to remove his dialysis bandages after treatment. These bandages should be removed within the recommended timeframe to help prevent complications, including infection. When I called to bring this concern to management’s attention, I was very disappointed by the response I received. The manager was rude, dismissive, and did not offer an apology or acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. As a family member, I expect residents to receive attentive and compassionate care. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with significant concerns about the quality of care and communication at this facility. I am currently looking for alternative placement for my grandfather. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Peninsula Place Acute to families seeking care for their loved ones.

Very good place. Thank you for taking care of my grandpa. All the staffs are super friendly and taking care nicely.
First night my sister stayed there she called the nurse 8 times because she had to use the bathroom and couldn’t walk on her own. Nobody came to help her at all. So she tried walking by herself and fell. We checked her out the next morning.
After a family member’s hospital stay, we found ourselves in an incredibly stressful situation. Insurance complications left us scrambling to secure the right care and housing for them. Kris and Alexis at Peninsula Post-Acute were absolute lifesavers. They connected us with resources to help us identify and tour facilities until we found the perfect fit, and they also helped coordinate the at-home care my family member needed to transition out of the post-acute facility. This was a stressful time for our family, and Kris and Alexis went above and beyond, not just professionally, but with genuine compassion. We are so grateful for their support.

The staff is amazing! They take their time and really care! Everyone is nice! So kind and patient! The food looks and smells yummy- REALLY a nice place.
Our experience with Peninsula Post Acute has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment you walk through the doors, the facility truly feels like home. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to create a welcoming, seamless, and family‑oriented environment. Everyone is friendly, warm, compassionate, and always on top of their game. I especially want to recognize Chello for their exceptional support, compassion, and professionalism. One moment, Chello is working alongside surveyors, and the next, they are in patient rooms ensuring families are comfortable and that patients are receiving the best possible care. Chello consistently places patient care at the highest level, and it truly shows. I would also like to commend Bianca, the Admissions Director, for her professionalism, kindness, and patience throughout the entire process. Chello’s administrative team goes above and beyond and deserves the highest praise. This level of excellence extends throughout the entire facility. Nurse Hayley, Jen, Angela, Grant, Jamica, and Wound Nurse Suzette all delivered exceptional care and ensured my mom received the highest level of attention during her stay. Suzette made sure that mom small wound is always clean and taken care of. Alexis and Marilyn’s team always made sure we were well taken care of. Alexis consistently goes above and beyond his regular duties—whether it’s helping put away trays, stepping in wherever help is needed, or offering a simple yet meaningful hug.I also want to express my gratitude to the facility’s kitchen staff—my mom absolutely loves the food. This is the first time she has ever commented that the meals were genuinely enjoyable, especially for a post‑acute facility. The kitchen team ensures meals are fresh, tasty, appetizing, and, most importantly, healthy. And finally, I cannot forget our favorite CNA, Jayme—she is truly one of a kind. We need a Jayme in every healthcare setting. She is a gem who brings joy to my mom, who suffered a stroke, and has become a source of comfort for our family every time we visit. I know I am forgetting to mention many other hardworking individuals—thank you will never be enough. I will truly miss this facility and the exceptional care and compassion shown to my family. It is clear that this entire team genuinely cares for their residents and their families. I highly recommend Peninsula Post Acute to anyone seeking compassionate, dedicated, and top‑quality care. My new family!
If you can avoid sending your family member here, please do. This facility is so understaffed that the people who work here do not have enough time to provide the level of care patients deserve. Unless you are here to constantly advocate for your loved one, they will not receive a basic level of care. We sit here with my mother constantly asking for me and still wait sometimes an hour for her needs to be addressed. I feel badly for the patients first but also the staff because they are so incredibly overworked it is unfair to them as well. These types of facilities face many issues but we have been through this before. Los Altos Post Acute have far more staff members who are able to work together and serve patients in a timely matter with a more positive and less exhausted response. If you are able to choose between here and somewhere else please do your research. I would not wish this level of care on anyone and the people who are in charge of staffing budgets here should be ashamed of themselves.
The social workers Chris and Alex are very helpful with getting my mom ready to go home. The nursing staff are not all nice. Some are nasty. Grant is a LVN that is exceptionally good. He listens and follows things through. My mom’s CNAs including Mahelia are very kind to my mom. The occupational therapist Derrick is very good to my mom and taught her many skills.
I can’t thank enough, the entire staff for their patience, caring and expertise in dealing with my needs for my recovery. I consider the staff as being family and I thank you all so very much, i’m gonna miss you.
