Just want to share how amazing the staff is at Peninsula Post Acute!! My mom had an emergency transfer due to a really bad experience from a different facility. Thank you Chelo for making the transfer stress free after the trauma my mom experienced and for having her transferred the same day arranging transportation and everything, you’re the best! The facility is clean, staff is attentive they come and check on you regularly. Thank you Ernestine, April, Julian, Bella and Maria for making my moms stay as pleasant as possible! I 100% recommend!

Staff is wonderful with our family member—very attentive. The PT (Kobe) and OT (Derrick) are skilled and considerate. Our only issue is that the shared room bed spaces are way too small. Our family member feels claustrophobic in the space.

Beautiful building and very attentive staff. The food is better than most facility food. Definitely recommended for short stay rehabilitation.
My Sister was in this facility and I would like to leave the highest rating. The team was very professional and handled her with the utmost care. Very informative on all questions and there schedule was always prompt. Even after discharge the remained available to answer our needs and questions. Thumbs up
The staff is caring, respectful, and always willing to help. Facility is well maintained!
I was a patient here about 4 months ago to recover from breaking a hip. CNA Bella was very helpful and sweet!
good care. rehab staff was very patient and motivating. will be coming back if needed
My experience here has truly changed my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and treated with kindness and respect. The staff genuinely care about every person’s recovery and go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe, heard, and encouraged throughout the process. The therapists, counselors, and medical team are knowledgeable, compassionate, and always willing to help. They created an environment where I could focus on healing, learn healthy coping skills, and build a strong foundation for my recovery. The program gave me the tools and confidence I needed to move forward and believe in myself again. Recovery isn’t easy, but having a team that truly believes in you makes all the difference. I highly recommend this rehab to anyone who is struggling with addiction or looking for a fresh start. If you’re willing to put in the work, you’ll find the support, guidance, and care you need here. Coming here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’ll always be grateful for the people who helped me along the way.
I had a wonderful experience with this skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The staff was caring, compassionate, and attentive throughout the entire stay. The therapists were knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly dedicated to helping patients regain their strength and independence. The nursing team consistently provided excellent care and took the time to answer questions and address concerns. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and created a welcoming environment for both patients and their families. What stood out most was the genuine kindness and professionalism of everyone on the team. It is clear that they care deeply about the well-being and recovery of their patients. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of skilled nursing care or rehabilitation services.
My aunt was a patient at this facility to recover from a severe infection which compromised her mobility after a long hospitalization. The PT and OT were terrific in building an achievable program that challenged and enabled her ability to rehab and recover returning to daily life activities and mobility. The social service team also aided in providing a safe return home once I met my goals. Kaiser case managers and MD were helpful in guiding my progress throughout my time here! I recommend this facility!
I have had a wonderful experience with this nursing home. The staff are caring, compassionate, and truly go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and respected. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a welcoming environment for both residents and their families. The activities department does an excellent job providing engaging programs, social events, and opportunities for residents to stay active and connected. It is clear that the team genuinely cares about each resident’s well-being and quality of life. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will receive excellent care, kindness, and dignity. Thank you to the entire staff for everything you do!
Peninsula Place Acute is not a facility I would recommend for your loved ones. My grandfather has been a resident here for the past two weeks and attends dialysis three times a week. I was recently informed that staff failed to remove his dialysis bandages after treatment. These bandages should be removed within the recommended timeframe to help prevent complications, including infection. When I called to bring this concern to management’s attention, I was very disappointed by the response I received. The manager was rude, dismissive, and did not offer an apology or acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. As a family member, I expect residents to receive attentive and compassionate care. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with significant concerns about the quality of care and communication at this facility. I am currently looking for alternative placement for my grandfather. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Peninsula Place Acute to families seeking care for their loved ones.

Very good place. Thank you for taking care of my grandpa. All the staffs are super friendly and taking care nicely.
First night my sister stayed there she called the nurse 8 times because she had to use the bathroom and couldn’t walk on her own. Nobody came to help her at all. So she tried walking by herself and fell. We checked her out the next morning.
This facility is horrible!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away! Dont believe the 5 star reviews because it’s staff reviews. Read the 1 star reviews. It will review the truth. It is hard to reach out to management for issues. They are non existent. Staff just says they will reach out. It never happens. One time I was visiting and all I see is them walking around. They don’t even say hi or acknowledge visitors in a professional manner. I heard a bunch of staff talking about quitting too because of schedule issues. I can definitely see why they want to quit. This place seems to be understaffed. And it takes forever for them to answer the call light. That’s also a reason why my mother fell. And they never give an update on your loved ones when asked. When I come during lunch time to visit, I always hear this morning nurse near the entrance complaining about her job. She must hate her job so much. I asked her for help one time and she rolled her eyes at me. Imagine someone that behaves like that take care of your loved ones.
After a family member’s hospital stay, we found ourselves in an incredibly stressful situation. Insurance complications left us scrambling to secure the right care and housing for them. Kris and Alexis at Peninsula Post-Acute were absolute lifesavers. They connected us with resources to help us identify and tour facilities until we found the perfect fit, and they also helped coordinate the at-home care my family member needed to transition out of the post-acute facility. This was a stressful time for our family, and Kris and Alexis went above and beyond, not just professionally, but with genuine compassion. We are so grateful for their support.
