The staff is amazing! They take their time and really care! Everyone is nice! So kind and patient! The food looks and smells yummy- REALLY a nice place.
Our experience with Peninsula Post Acute has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment you walk through the doors, the facility truly feels like home. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to create a welcoming, seamless, and family‑oriented environment. Everyone is friendly, warm, compassionate, and always on top of their game. I especially want to recognize Chello for their exceptional support, compassion, and professionalism. One moment, Chello is working alongside surveyors, and the next, they are in patient rooms ensuring families are comfortable and that patients are receiving the best possible care. Chello consistently places patient care at the highest level, and it truly shows. I would also like to commend Bianca, the Admissions Director, for her professionalism, kindness, and patience throughout the entire process. Chello’s administrative team goes above and beyond and deserves the highest praise. This level of excellence extends throughout the entire facility. Nurse Hayley, Jen, Angela, Grant, Jamica, and Wound Nurse Suzette all delivered exceptional care and ensured my mom received the highest level of attention during her stay. Suzette made sure that mom small wound is always clean and taken care of. Alexis and Marilyn’s team always made sure we were well taken care of. Alexis consistently goes above and beyond his regular duties—whether it’s helping put away trays, stepping in wherever help is needed, or offering a simple yet meaningful hug.I also want to express my gratitude to the facility’s kitchen staff—my mom absolutely loves the food. This is the first time she has ever commented that the meals were genuinely enjoyable, especially for a post‑acute facility. The kitchen team ensures meals are fresh, tasty, appetizing, and, most importantly, healthy. And finally, I cannot forget our favorite CNA, Jayme—she is truly one of a kind. We need a Jayme in every healthcare setting. She is a gem who brings joy to my mom, who suffered a stroke, and has become a source of comfort for our family every time we visit. I know I am forgetting to mention many other hardworking individuals—thank you will never be enough. I will truly miss this facility and the exceptional care and compassion shown to my family. It is clear that this entire team genuinely cares for their residents and their families. I highly recommend Peninsula Post Acute to anyone seeking compassionate, dedicated, and top‑quality care. My new family!
If you can avoid sending your family member here, please do. This facility is so understaffed that the people who work here do not have enough time to provide the level of care patients deserve. Unless you are here to constantly advocate for your loved one, they will not receive a basic level of care. We sit here with my mother constantly asking for me and still wait sometimes an hour for her needs to be addressed. I feel badly for the patients first but also the staff because they are so incredibly overworked it is unfair to them as well. These types of facilities face many issues but we have been through this before. Los Altos Post Acute have far more staff members who are able to work together and serve patients in a timely matter with a more positive and less exhausted response. If you are able to choose between here and somewhere else please do your research. I would not wish this level of care on anyone and the people who are in charge of staffing budgets here should be ashamed of themselves.
The social workers Chris and Alex are very helpful with getting my mom ready to go home. The nursing staff are not all nice. Some are nasty. Grant is a LVN that is exceptionally good. He listens and follows things through. My mom’s CNAs including Mahelia are very kind to my mom. The occupational therapist Derrick is very good to my mom and taught her many skills.
I can’t thank enough, the entire staff for their patience, caring and expertise in dealing with my needs for my recovery. I consider the staff as being family and I thank you all so very much, i’m gonna miss you.
Excellent service and great hospitality. 5 Stars for cleanliness. Highly recommended Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehab.
This place is something it’s really sad, how they treat the patients and staff members here I overheard some manager or something yelling at one of the cnas about something and they were really degrading them calling them lazy and that they should work harder, the whole time I was there this person was running around like crazy and no one was helping this person and she still got yelled at. Management really sucks at this place no support for staff and patients it’s unacceptable I will be calling state for this cruel behavior towards staff and patients…..
Took good care of my mom very happy facility.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Care and Compassionate Staff Our experience at Peninsula Acute Rehab was truly outstanding. From the moment my mother-in-law arrived, it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about her recovery, comfort, and overall well-being. The facility was clean, well-organized, and run with professionalism. I especially want to recognize Christine B, who went above and beyond during my mother-in-law’s stay. Christine was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient, always taking the time to explain things clearly and make sure my mother-in-law felt safe and supported. Her compassion and dedication made a stressful time much easier for both our family and her. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill with such genuine empathy, and Christine truly made a difference in her recovery. The therapy team and nursing staff worked seamlessly together, encouraging progress while treating her with dignity and respect. Thanks to their hard work and encouragement, my mother-in-law left stronger and more confident. I highly recommend Peninsula Acute Rehab to anyone looking for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The quality of care and the people who work there—especially Christine B—are exceptional.
Peninsula Post Acute is a nice place with very friendly staff. They are very skilled and competent in providing quality care and rehab services. Residents come in requiring high level of care in the beginning and progress to lower level of care needs and smiling more when they get discharge back to the community. The residents enjoys the activities offered and provided like seated group exercises and live entertainment. Highly recommended Skilled Nursing Facility for Rehabilitation and Nursing care services. The kitchen caters to residents food preferences according to their therapeutic diet.
PPA Staff are the best in providing person centered care that is catered to the resident specific care needs and preferences. I would recommend this facility to my friends and loved ones. The building is well maintained and recently upgraded to flat screen TV for each resident to offer personal entertainment. The gazebo and the outdoor garden makes it more like home for the residents and their families.
2nd time my mom had to go to PPA. First time for her hip, now this time for final surgery and a lot of PT This is the best place on the peninsula. They are very good about following the schedules and the PT, and having the dietitian go over the menu and items that my mom likes. I would recommend this place, for rehabilitation and skilled nursing needs.
It’s sad to say but I feel terrible coming to this place I know my mom is getting the care she needs but looking at the staff here it’s terrible I’m visiting mom and I see these staff getting yelled at and berated by patients I saw one hitting staff and I couldn’t take it anymore my heart goes out to these hero’s I demanded to speak to management but the staff told me since it’s night time there’s none around and if I wanted to complain come back in the morning, isn’t that sad that these staff at night don’t have any support I told them if they needed anything just ask I’m a mother as well it breaks my heart, I came to visit my mom because she told me she ran out her crossword puzzles if she didn’t tell me i wouldn’t have seen this.
This place is terrible, when I was walking the halls getting a tour of the place I saw a rat at the front door and I heard a patient yelling at a staff member calling them names and I even saw the patient hitting them, and I saw the supervisor watching the whole thing not doing anything about it, is this how healthcare workers are treated nowadays, I have a daughter that wants to pursue healthcare I’m gonna tell her not to pursue this career path I can’t imagine my baby getting abused at the workplace and having your co workers watching and not doing anything unacceptable I hope that staff member is having a better day because I know that staff aren’t supposed to do anything back.
Peninsula Post Acute has become a familiar and trusted place for my family, as we have had the honor of having two of my uncles stay with them. I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff has been. During this last stay, my uncle was truly cared for and loved by the team. I want to give a special shout-out to his nurse, Hailey, for her excellent care; to Roda, who visited him every morning to assist with any concerns; and to Marilyn, who handled his transfer smoothly and timely, even though it was after hours. Thank you all for the wonderful care.
My experience with Peninsula Post Acute has been nothing short of amazing. The staff here go above and beyond to make everything seamless and welcoming. I especially want to recognize Chello for their exceptional support and guidance, and Bianca, the Admissions Director, for her professionalism, kindness, and patience. Both made the process effortless and truly personal. It’s clear that this team genuinely cares about their residents and families. I highly recommend Peninsula Post Acute to anyone looking for compassionate and dedicated care.

The facility has made a lot of beautification and big improments to provide a homelike environment for the residents. The staff provides very good care of the residents like their own family. My 92 year old mom spent three months here and successfully transitioned to assisted living thanks to the great staff at Peninsula Post-Acute. I am (unfortunately) quite familiar with these kinds of places and this one is a cut above. Staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this facility.
